Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential fundraising opportunities
  • Prepare funding proposals for potential institution sponsorship of planned activities or new initiatives, and provide periodic progress reports to funders as required
  • Responsible for the overall planning, operation and administration of fundraising events
  • Build/expand network of donors, supporters and volunteers
  • Develop and manage communication material, including printed materials, web site, and social media
  • Manage subordinates to achieve departmental goals

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years related work experience
  • Prior experience working with charity is an asset
  • Strong event and people management skills
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented, with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Independent, creative, self-driven and job ownership mentality
  • May require to work after office hours or weekends or business travel occasionally
  • Good command of written English and Chinese, and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Resource Development Officer
