Norris is Partner of Whale Capital in charge of strategic mergers & acquisitions. She is also Managing Partner of Forbes Financial Centers Development focusing on real estate and private equity opportunities globally. Prior to that, Norris was President of Forbes Private Capital Group Asia and G2 Asia Limited, responsible for sourcing, investing, fund raising and syndicating investment opportunities in Greater China for capital market businesses. Between 2008 and 2010, she was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities, Hong Kong, where she led its capital raising efforts for private funds, secondary and co-investments. From 2004 to 2008, Ms. Lam was a Director at HSBC Alternative Investment Group in Hong Kong. From 2002 to 2004, she was Vice President at Guggenheim Partners in New York. Prior to that, Ms. Lam was an Associate at Alcatel e-Business Group in San Francisco, handling direct investments. After graduating college, she was selected as one of three trainees for a global program  at  HSBC Asset Management in London, New York and Hong Kong.

Ms. Lam provides advice as member of numerous advisory bodies in Hong Kong including Funds Management Sub-Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and Committee on Self-financing Post-secondary Education and Steering Committee on Self – financing Post-secondary Education Fund. She co-founded Youth Arch Foundation in 2010, to host two awards annually that aim at commending promising secondary school students, namely the Hong Kong outstanding Students Award and the Youth Arch Student Improvement Award. Ms. Lam graduated with a B.A in International Business from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was a visiting student  at Brown University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Adjunct Professor at The CUHK Business School.
